The School Day

It is very important that children arrive at school on time, allowing the beginning of the day to start in a calm, uninterrupted way. If your child regularly arrives late, this can disrupt the class and part of the vital first session of the day will be missed. It is just as important that you collect your child on time at the end of the school day. If for any reason you are unavoidably delayed, please ring the school office to let us know

Early Years

At Hanover we value the children as unique individuals, and believe in providing the best care, environments and learning experiences for them to learn and develop to their maximum potential. We are passionate about children learning outside, and we like the children to utilise our outside environments wherever possible.

Learning

At Hanover we pride ourselves on our broad and stimulating curriculum. From September 2014 we have embraced the new national curriculum including all elements in an overall curriculum plan.

Inclusion and SEND

We aim to meet the needs of all children including those with special or additional needs. We follow the government’s Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Code of Practice: 0 to 25 Years.

Assessment

In order that we can best meet the needs of all children, staff are continually assessing their knowledge, skills and needs.
