Through strong, trust-based relationships, trauma-informed practice and genuine inclusion, we give children the emotional security and confidence to take risks in their learning.

A Strong Local Community We know our families well and view you as key partners in breaking down barriers to success. We celebrate our community through whole-school events like the Global Feast, Hanover’s Got Talent and our other community events.

The Power of Play and Joy Play builds emotional resilience and neural pathways. We embed child-led, play-based learning from Nursery to Year 1, maintaining experiential play through Year 6. Joy is a biological mechanism that drives deep learning, memory retention, and psychological safety.

A Curriculum Rich in Experience Our broad curriculum offers abundant enrichment, music, and memorable visits - including two Key Stage 2 overnight residentials, culminating in our iconic Year 6 ‘Hanover Camp’.

Evidence-Based Pedagogy & Inclusion We combine a small-steps approach with high-quality Oracy (learning to talk, and learning through talk) to address misconceptions early. Teachers, support staff and specialist services work together to dismantle barriers to learning for every pupil.

Broad Enrichment & Personal Growth High academic standards go hand in hand with personal discovery. Through a varied programme of extra-curricular clubs, we help every child find ‘their thing’ and develop a lifelong love of learning.
